Aisle Do It Privacy Policy

Introduction

Aisle Do It ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Aisle Do It handles your information. (Aisle Do It was previously known as TimeTasker.)

Data Collection and Storage

Aisle Do It stores data both locally on your device and in iCloud via Apple's CloudKit framework, including:

• Tasks and subtasks you create
• Grocery lists and grocery items
• Time tracking data and active timers
• Task completion history and statistics
• User preferences and settings
• Priority levels and recurrence patterns
• Multiple list configurations

iCloud sync allows your data to stay up to date across all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud and CloudKit privacy policies. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

List Sharing

You can share a list with other people — for example, by sending them a link through iMessage. When you share a list, the people you invite can view its contents (and edit it, if you give them permission).

• Your choice: Only the lists you explicitly share are visible to anyone else. Everything else stays private to you.
• Powered by Apple: Sharing works through Apple's CloudKit sharing. Shared lists are stored by Apple and are governed by Apple's privacy policy. We do not have access to your shared lists.
• Stop sharing anytime: You can stop sharing a list from within the app, which removes other people's access to it.

Muse Sync (Optional)

Aisle Do It offers an optional feature called Muse Sync, which lets an AI assistant read your lists and keep them updated — for example, checking off tasks or adding groceries when you ask in chat. Muse Sync is off by default. Nothing in this section applies unless you explicitly enable it.

• Opt-in only: No data leaves your device until you tap Settings → Connect to Muse.
• What is synced: When enabled, the app uploads a copy of your task lists and grocery lists — including task titles, notes, priorities, due dates, and grocery items — to our sync server, hosted on Cloudflare (Workers + D1).
• How it works: The app re-uploads only when something changes, so the server copy stays current. Your assistant reads that copy and can queue updates (completing tasks, adding groceries), which the app applies the next time it syncs.
• Access key: Connecting creates a random, per-user access key stored securely in your iPhone's Keychain. The key identifies only your lists — it is not linked to your name, email, or Apple ID, and there is no account or sign-up.
• Disconnect anytime: Tapping Disconnect revokes the key immediately — it stops working everywhere. If you also want the server-side copy of your lists deleted, contact us at the email below and we will delete it.

Home Screen Widgets

Aisle Do It offers Home Screen widgets that display your task information. Widget data is read from your local device storage and is not transmitted elsewhere. Widgets are a Premium feature.

In-App Purchases

Aisle Do It offers a Premium upgrade as an in-app purchase. Payment transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

Export and Import Features

Aisle Do It allows you to export your task data to files for backup purposes and import data from files. These operations are entirely local to your device. We do not access, store, or transmit exported data.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Except for the optional Muse Sync described above, Aisle Do It does not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Location data
• Contact information
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers for advertising

Third-Party Services

Aisle Do It uses the following services:

• CloudKit — for iCloud sync across your devices. Apple's Privacy Policy governs this data.
• StoreKit — for in-app purchases. Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment information.
• Cloudflare (Workers + D1) — only if you enable Muse Sync: hosts the sync server that stores a copy of your lists so your assistant can read them. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy governs data processed on their infrastructure.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Security

Your data is protected by your device security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and by Apple's iCloud security infrastructure. Connections to the Muse Sync server use HTTPS, and Muse Sync access keys are random 256-bit tokens stored in the iOS Keychain, never in plain text. We recommend keeping your device and iCloud account secure and up to date.

Data Deletion

You have control over your data:

• Delete individual tasks within the app
• Delete the Aisle Do It app from your device, which removes all locally stored data
• To remove iCloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage in your device Settings
• If you enabled Muse Sync, tap Disconnect in the app to revoke access immediately. To also delete the server-side copy of your lists, email us at mdivitto@gmail.com and we will delete it.

Children's Privacy

Aisle Do It does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not target children specifically.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

• You have complete control over your locally stored data
• You can access all your data within the app
• You can delete any or all data at any time
• You can export your data for backup purposes
• You can manage your iCloud data through your Apple ID settings
