TimeTasker Privacy Policy

Introduction

TimeTasker ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how TimeTasker handles your information.

Data Collection and Storage

TimeTasker stores data both locally on your device and in iCloud via Apple's CloudKit framework, including:

• Tasks and subtasks you create
• Time tracking data and active timers
• Task completion history and statistics
• User preferences and settings
• Priority levels and recurrence patterns
• Multiple list configurations

iCloud sync allows your data to stay up to date across all your Apple devices signed in with the same Apple ID. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is governed by Apple's iCloud and CloudKit privacy policies. We do not have access to your iCloud data.

Home Screen Widgets

TimeTasker offers Home Screen widgets that display your task information. Widget data is read from your local device storage and is not transmitted elsewhere. Widgets are a Premium feature.

In-App Purchases

TimeTasker offers a Premium upgrade as an in-app purchase. Payment transactions are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs how your payment data is handled.

Export and Import Features

TimeTasker allows you to export your task data to files for backup purposes and import data from files. These operations are entirely local to your device. We do not access, store, or transmit exported data.

Data We Do NOT Collect

TimeTasker does not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Location data
• Contact information
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Device identifiers for advertising

Third-Party Services

TimeTasker uses the following Apple frameworks:

• CloudKit — for iCloud sync across your devices. Apple's Privacy Policy governs this data.
• StoreKit — for in-app purchases. Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment information.

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Security

Your data is protected by your device security features (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and by Apple's iCloud security infrastructure. We recommend keeping your device and iCloud account secure and up to date.

Data Deletion

You have control over your data:

• Delete individual tasks within the app
• Delete the TimeTasker app from your device, which removes all locally stored data
• To remove iCloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage in your device Settings

Children's Privacy

TimeTasker does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not target children specifically.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Your Rights

• You have complete control over your locally stored data
• You can access all your data within the app
• You can delete any or all data at any time
• You can export your data for backup purposes
• You can manage your iCloud data through your Apple ID settings
